What It Does
Real-time, enterprise-wide automated inventory management
AIM Inventory Software is a complete tool crib management system that allows you to take control of your tools and supplies usage and inventory. You can start by automating a traditional/manual tool crib with just software and barcodes -- and grow into a complete tool crib management and point of use dispensing system (with vending machines).
You can then customize access rights for shop floor users, as well as customize the overhead data you will collect with just a few clicks. Control access by item, budget, department, job, employee shift and crib.

AIM Inventory Software has been designed to make it incredibly easy to manage and setup a traditional tool crib. (How easy is it? Our "flat" design means your tool crib attendant or administrator won't get lost in layers of multiple windows to get the job done.)
The simple Issue/Return screens allow the attendant to quickly identify the item requested, and process the transaction with a minimum of mouse clicks. Further, the attendant can also transfer inventory from the tool crib to satellite cribs or vending machines, plus:
• Manage reground or reconditioned tools
• Perform cycle counts on the inventory
• Manually or automatically purchase and receive inventory
• Process spot buys
• Perform the recall gage calibration process
This can all be done while you are controlling and managing a variety of AIM Inventory Point of use dispensing equipment in the background.

In today's world of report overload, it's often difficult to keep up. AIM Inventory's intelligent dashboard compiles many reports into a simple, easy-to-use, color-coded screen that presents actionable data (where Red is bad, and Green is good).
Just click on any chart and the system drills down and shows you exactly what needs attention (i.e., what items are in a stock-out condition and need to be reordered immediately). Of course, there are over 200 standard reports like:
• Re-order reports
• Projected stock outs
• Inventory value
• Consumption reports by department, job, and employee
• Slow and dead inventory
• And more -- everything you need to manage your indirect expenses, cut costs, and boost productivity
Full purchasing and receiving system with Demand-Based Purchasing
You'll easily manage purchasing and receiving, communicate with multiple suppliers, and receive immediate notification of a critical item shortage. But AIM Inventory's proprietary Demand-Based Purchasing System takes simplicity and productivity to the next level. Using AIM Inventory's advanced inventory algorithm, you will never have to set or adjust a min/max, reorder point, or reorder quantity again!
The system constantly reviews actual demand, and makes its buying decisions based on how you actually consume the inventory. Further, this system will virtually eliminate the possibility of any more slow or dead inventory coming into your facility.

No stock-outs — ever — with automatic reorder
When your inventory runs low, AIM Inventory software will automatically send a purchase order to the supplier to replenish your stock, based on your actual usage. Downtime due to stock-outs will become a thing of the past.
Powerful search capability saves time for users
Users can search for any item throughout the AIM Inventory system from any AIM Inventory vending machine (keypad or touch screen), AIM Portal, or AIM Station.
By signing in and selecting "Issue", the user will be presented with a list of all the items that user is authorized to access. The user can then narrow the list, by typing in any portion of the name of the item desired, an item code, or a description. Pictures of the item can also be viewed, to confirm the correct item.
When the user selects "Locate", the AIM Inventory system will find the desired item anywhere it exists in your facility .

Over 200 standard reports are preloaded into AIM Inventory software. You can run each report by selecting it from a simple menu. Standard reports are available to answer these questions:
• Tool usage by specific cost center: What tools and supplies were used for each job (department, shift, etc.)?

• What is the current inventory count for a particular item?
