Robo 500, 1000, 2000:

Secure issue/return of 500, 1000, or 2000+ items in under 10 seconds

• Access 500, 1000, or 2000+ items in under 10 seconds
• High-security issue and return
• For tools, fasteners, welding supplies, MRO, gloves and PPE
• Can vend almost anything, including large or delicate items
• No individual repackaging needed

The AIM Robo 500, 1000, and 2000 models manage the issue and return of both fast- and slow-moving items in a high-security environment. AIM Robo's series of counter-rotating carousels allow the dispensing of an item in less than 10 seconds, and:

• AIM Robo 500 stocks over 500 items in a standard tool cabinet space
• AIM Robo 1000 stocks up to 1050 items, and its 3' x 3' frame fits through a standard doorway
• AIM Robo 2000 stocks over 2500 items in a 5' x 5' footprint

Dispense virtually any item from AIM Robo

The individual pie-shaped bins can deliver a wide range of items, including large or delicate items not easily dispensed from traditional tool vending machines. And there's no need for individual repackaging. With the variety of available bin sizes, you can easily manage both small and large items, including:
• Adhesives
• Air tools
• Batteries
• Carbide inserts
• Cutting tools
• Drill bits
• Gages
• Gloves
• Glue
• Lubricants
• Keys
• Safety supplies
• Tape
• Tools
• Maintenance parts
• Paint
• Repair parts
• Spray cans
• Tube fittings
• Valves
• Welding tips and supplies
• And bulk items

When your storage needs change, AIM Robo can be easily reconfigured. Any tray assembly can be changed out in minutes by simply removing and replacing only four screws. Wheels make the system physically mobile, to manage maintenance and repair parts throughout large areas (airline hangars, shipyards, large manufacturing plants, etc.)

Secure access control

• You can limit the use of any item to a specific quantity per day, week, or month
• AIM Robo sends instant alerts to the supervisor, when a job is out of process because of abnormal tool usage.
• Limit employee access by dollar amount, departmental budget, or time restrictions by shift
• Control access by allowing items to only be used on specific jobs
• Track lot numbers
• Deny access to a serialized gage that has fallen out of its calibration cycle
• Automatic door "baffles" prohibit access to adjacent bins.

Control access, track and report usage, plus automate your purchasing and receiving

AIM Robo is controlled by AIM Inventory Software (client/server or web-based AIM Inventory.net). The software features an Intelligent Dashboard with key metrics visible at a glance on one screen. Over 200 reports are pre-loaded.
AIM Robo Options — available with any AIM Robo model

Revolutionary AIM Scale greatly increases AIM Robo capacity for bulk items

The AIM Scale option (with "parts cups") can dispense smaller items such as fasteners, while increasing control. The user takes the quantity of items desired from the parts cups, and AIM Robo weighs the remaining items to record the number removed. Learn more about AIM Scale

- Frameless doors allow dispensing of larger items vertically

With the frameless doors option, the system can open multiple doors at the same time, allowing larger items to be dispensed vertically.
- Add AIM Lockers to any AIM Robo
Dispense larger items like computers, police radios, walkie-talkies, and more, by adding AIM Lockers to any AIM Robo. AIM Lockers can be equipped with optional LAN connections and AC power outlets, to keep power tools, drill batteries, and computers updated and charged in a secure "check out" and "check in" environment.

How AIM Robo works

1. User enters (or scans in) employee number and optional PIN, as well as any additional information that you choose (department number, job number, etc.).
2. User selects the "Issue" (or "Return") button on the touch screen.
3. User can enter the item code, all or part of the item name, or a description -- and the powerful keyword search capability will produce a list of all related items. User can even view a photo and notes about the item. User can then select the item from the list displayed.
4. The request is verified against the AIM Inventory database. The system moves the carousels and adjusts the door "baffles" to accommodate the size of the door to be opened. Once the appropriate column is in position, the appropriate door (or doors) will open. Items are delivered by individual pie-shaped bin.
5. When returning an item, the user will be presented with a list of items checked out to that particular user. The user can then select the item to be returned from the list.

USER ACCESS

• Touch screen buttons are programmable for each user, so each user sees only the functions relevant to him/her
• Users can select: Issue, Locate, Phys (Physical Count), Return, Stock, Maintain
• Omni directional bar-code reader for scanning employee ID, job number, department number, etc.
• Optional magnetic swipe or proximity card input for employee ID
• Search by item code, description or classification within the machine
• Filtering tool helps find correct tool for the job, and limit the tools available or specific to each job. Restricts tool choices to ensure user finds the right tools for the job. System will walk user through the issue process, selectively reducing the number of items that can be issued to that user based on answers to questions regarding department, machine, and job
• Search for any item in any vending machine or tool crib in the AIM Inventory system, from the touch screen, using AIM Inventory software
• View notes on how to use the tool
• View pictures of items to confirm or locate the correct tool

ACCESS CONTROL

• Control access by item, dollars for a departmental budget, dollars for an employee budget, quantity of individual items by employee, individual items by job, and employee shift
• Complete calibration control
• Complete serial number tracking and access control
• Complete lot control
• Force the use of reconditioned items
• FOD (Foreign Object and Debris) control (system-wide, as well as max number of item on the floor per user)
• Dispense the same item in different package quantities with the same item code (maintains accurate usage history, and aggregates the spend based on one item code)

PHYSICAL

• No need for individual repackaging of items
• Any tray assembly can be changed out in minutes, by simply removing and replacing only 4 screws
• Circular bin trays can be divided in up to 12 units in these mix-and-match configurations:
