Eliminates the need for special repackaging
Simply place gloves on top of each other (alternating left and right) in the deep vertical bins. AIM Vend eliminates the labor-intensive process of repackaging gloves for traditional helix/coil-based dispensing machines.
Dispense gloves, safety glasses, aprons - or other items up to 2 lbs
AIM Vend can dispense gloves, safety glasses, and more. Even large, bulky, or soft items like Tyvek suits and aprons are no problem for AIM Vend. It easily dispenses items weighing up to 2 lbs.
TRIPLE the overall glove capacity compared to similar helix/coil-based machines.
AIM Vend can stock up to 2200 pairs of gloves in its deep bins. Standard configuration includes 22 vertical bins with up to 100 pair of gloves per bin (depending on the type of glove). Standard configuration is set as 18 bins at 11" x 7" x 48" and 4 bins at 13" x 7" x 41".
Restock time is minimal
With AIM Inventory's "Fill to Max" stocking feature, there's no need to run a report on current stock in the machine, or manually add the number of items restocked. AIM Vend automatically calculates the difference between stock on-hand and max.
Access control, cost and usage reporting, plus purchasing and receiving system
AIM Vend is controlled by AIM Inventory Software (client/server or web-based option). The system records the issue of each item, so usage is tracked by employee, job, department, shift, and budget.
When inventory runs low, notification is automatically sent to suppliers to replenish the machine. The software features an Intelligent Dashboard with key metrics visible at a glance on one screen. Over 200 reports are pre-loaded
How AIM Vend works
1. The user selects "Issue" from the 4-language keypad.
2. The user enters an employee number and any overhead data.
3. The Employee can use the handheld barcode reader to scan the item desired from a printed menu, or use the keypad to select the bin number containing the item desired.
4. The robot head positions itself over the appropriate storage bin. The head then drops its vacuum hose into the bin and applies vacuum pressure to the item being dispensed.
5. Once the item is retrieved, the hose then positions itself over the delivery chute and releases the item. (If the system senses a loss of vacuum pressure during the process, it will return for a second attempt. The end result is a successful dispense rate of 99%.)
6. The system records the issue of each item, so usage is tracked by employee, job, department, shift, and budget.
7. When the reorder point is hit, notification is automatically sent to the supplier to reorder supplies.
